The Bill Belichick Era Has Begun at UNC!

After many days of rumor and speculation, it’s official! Eight-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick has been hired as the next head football coach at the University of North Carolina.

Stop and consider this for a moment: THE greatest coach in the history of professional football will be leading the North Carolina Tar Heels in 2025!

Reportedly the deal to put Coach Belichick in charge of UNC Football includes greatly increased NIL commitments, as well as significant staffing and salary commitments that he demanded. This is in addition to Carolina’s intent to max out its revenue sharing once the House settlement takes effect, per UNC Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham’s remarks in an in-house interview on Dec. 2nd. Belichick’s deal will be for five years at a $10 million salary per year, three years of which are guaranteed.
